EAST LANSING – It looked for a minute like last-place Penn State might actually make a game of it tonight at Breslin Center, after a 23-6 Nittany Lions run chopped a 22-point deficit all the way to five, 52-47, in the second half.

Purdue was forced to travel to East Lansing by bus this morning after Friday night flight problems.
